Evie Madden and Lauren Williamson were fortunate enough to visit the Vietnam Friendship Village while in Hanoi to explore the work of the organisation in caring for children and elders affected by Agent Orange.

We didn’t know what to expect of the Village and were tentative about filming and photographing the children, but the teachers and directors were incredibly welcoming.

Although it is upsetting to think of the role Agent Orange has played in the physical and mental disabilities of these children, it was honestly the last thing on our minds as we toured the Village full of energetic, excited and happy kids who laughed, played and posed in front of our cameras.
